This site will no doubt spark controversy and debate.  There are and will always be caveats and questionmarks surrounding a number of details.  The pre-internet era can only be documented from memory and at least one signifigant rule change has forever altered the course of history. 

Before the 2004 season, points could only be accumulated in increments of 6, so a kicker who earned 5 pts was scored as a zero.  All these factors and others should be considered when comparing stats.  Putting this aside, all numbers and dates are believed to be accurate.
